The organisers waive the entrance fee and invite visitors to make a charitable donation for those affected by the floods
Narodni dom Maribor is joining the solidarity efforts in the wake of the catastrophic floods that had hit Slovenia. In line with the charitable principle of "pay it forward", where in return for a good deed we have received, we ourselves then do something good for someone else, we will be holding a concert to thank and pay tribute to the firefighters, rescue workers, volunteers and all others who are selflessly working in the flooded areas. We would like to encourage the people of Maribor and those who have been spared by fate to help those affected by the floods by making a voluntary donation.
Entrance to the concert will be free of charge, and visitors are encouraged to donate the amount they would otherwise have spent on tickets to one of the charities or associations that are raising money for the flood victims. A list of these organisations will be published at the concert venue, on the Narodni dom Maribor's website, Facebook and Instagram. Of course, visitors can also donate to organisations and associations of their choice or help in any other way. What counts is connecting in a spirit of solidarity and knowing that we can do something good, help. Each one of us can!
In case of bad weather, the concert will take place on Sunday, 10 September.
